Let me tell you something you already know, the world is not all sunshine and rainbow; neither is it a bed of roses that is free from thorns and rainbow bugs. It doesn’t matter who you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you permanently there if you let it.
Life is not about how hard you are hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. Regardless of whatever comes your way, how much you can survive and still stand is how winning is done.
Pain is temporal. It may last for a minute, a month or maybe two. It might go on for years but, the fascinating thing about it is that it will eventually subside. The margin of error is very small, one-half too early or too late and you are out.If you have a dream, you ought to protect it. And even when they tell you that your dreams are just fragments of your imagination, tell them no; yours are true! If you want something, go get it. Skills are only developed by hours and hours of beating your crap.
Michael Jordan said you can only be successful in Life when you crave for success as much as you do for sleep, food and other pleasure. Failing and falling are two basic fundamental stepping stones for a man that desires to reach the top. They can also be that which keeps you from reaching the top as well. You will not value great heights if you haven’t been low. In the same way, you will not value success if you haven’t failed. Pain is a feeling we all must go through at some point in Life, it is inherent.
He who says he CAN and he who says he CAN’T are both usually right. Most times we all want to be successful but we don’t want it desperately. You just kind of want it, not as bad as you want to party, hang out with your friends, have cool clothes and gadgets.
You can only make a choice of who you want to be. Why can’t you be the best in what you do? Why can’t you be the best that there is?
To be able to sacrifice what you are now for what you aspire to be will be the scale for measuring the level of your success. Don’t let your pain get the best of you!
